Biography
I’m console Simon. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and I’m 18 years old. I am a Standard 8 student. My daddy taught me photography. He used to take me with him to events, and there I could see him working. Little by little, he taught me how to set up a camera. After 2 years, I became a photographer. It was a privilege to work with my daddy. He taught me computer literacy. Once I knew how to operate a computer, I started learning graphic design. As of now, I make logos, posters, etc. I’m planning to learn filmmaking and video software. I am still a student, but I will finish my studies. I will improve in photography and use it to make a living. I know I still have more to do in life, but I’m very certain that I will be a professional photographer in the future. I advise my fellow youth to learn photography because it’s good work, and it pays a lot. I no longer depend on my family. Some of the time, I support my little brothers and sisters. Photography has helped me so much.
